Dr. Adam Rechtman is the founder of World Wide Wellness. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Adam was first exposed to chiropractic care while working for a temp agency in midtown Manhattan following high school. He befriended a successful chiropractor, during one assignment, who told him of the career's financial and personal rewards to self-motivated individuals who enjoyed helping others. In 1991, Adam enrolled in Life College, completing an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree (D.C.) in December 1995.

Dr. Rechtman, an Atlanta Chiropractor, began his professional chiropractic career at Sparlin Clinics in Atlanta, Georgia, where he learned about the personal injury side of chiropractic care. Dr. Rechtman focused almost exclusively on personal injury patient care at the time. Although uninspired by personal injury care, during 1996 and 1997, Adam successfully built and ran a personal injury chiropractic practice for Sparlin Clinics. Due to the clinic's close proximity to a fitness center, Adam slowly began to focus marketing efforts towards the gym's regular members. Adam quickly doubled his practice with non-personal injury patients, and soon thereafter, Adam left Sparlin to found World Wide Wellness, P.C.

Dr. Rechtman founded World Wide Wellness in the basement of a Gold's Gym franchise in an unused electrical closet-only large enough to hold a single adjustment table. Adam quickly established a successful chiropractic and wellness practice, and he recognized that the business model could be easily expanded to other fitness centers. While maintaining a personal practice, Adam managed to expand, open and manage other clinics as locations and opportunities arose.

World Wide Wellness is now in 3 health clubs including Adrenaline, Planet Fitness, and Gold's. Constantly expanding World Wide Wellness may be in your health club soon.

Adam is a member of the Georgia Chiropractic Association as well as other civic and social organizations. Adam lives in Alpharetta, Georgia with his wife Jeanine, son Dylan and daughter Skylar. With two young children, Adam enjoys spending time with his family. He also enjoys music and baseball when time permits.
